Little Miss Summer

I scrapped today! My youngest started Kindergarten leaving me with 3 hours all alone in the house. What's a girl to do? Ok, so there was some housework that could be done--but isn't there always? Instead I headed into the ScrapStreet Store and found Little Miss Summer by Handmaid Designs.


I loved the bright colors and the fun embellishments. While I was scrapping, a huge storm blew through blackening skies and pouring rain down on me. The clouds inspired me to mix in some black as a contrast to the softer shades. By the time the layout was finished, so was the storm and I headed to the freezer to ponder dinner preparations. Don't you just love when you can zip up a quick page in the middle of the day? Thanks for the inspiration, Katey.
