Country kids and Jillibean Soup~

Hi everyone~how about some Jillibean Soup.  I know this is some old paper but it was so perfect for these pictures!!!  Two little country kids walking across the field.  They have chickens, goats, and a pony.   They even have their work boots on.

I used all the Jillibean Soup embellishments that went with the paper set.  Makes it easy to scrapbook a page doing that.  All the fuss work is done for you.  Love that!!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!! by: Connie

Canvas Corp does all the hard work for you. The flowers are ready to go, just need a little embellishing!!!

I just get out all my odds and ends and cluster them in the center.  I use Helmar 450 Quick Dry glue on these.  They take no time at all to make~and so fun!!!

I gave the black one to may daughter-in-law and I'm keeping the green one.  I have a jacket that it will look great on this winter.

I'm sure I will find places for all them!!!  Check out Canvas Corp. The flowers come in so many colors and they look fabulous on caps !!! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!! by: Connie

Basically Bare mini album~

Hi everyone~Connie here to share with you a mini album done using the fabulous Basically Bare products!!  I won  a pack of goodies at a Basically Bare class, couldn't wait to dig in!
Most of the mini is made with Basically Bare Products, the chipborad shapes take paint, mists, paper and stay strong.

This is a look at the first three pages and some of the shapes I used to complete the album.  The paper is by The Paper Loft (was in my prize pack, too).  The frames are so neat~wish I had had two sets!!I thought of so many uses for them.

This is the last three pages.  The chipboard shapes come in cardboard, corrugated cardboard, canvas and felt.  The felt and canvas really take on the color, when you use inks or paint.  Great  embellishments that you can decorate anyway to match your paper carft projects!!!  Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see ya soon!!!

Jenni Bowlin Studio's chalk board and easel~

Hi everyone~ I wanted to share with you this re-purposed item {the bicycle frame} , with a new item~the Jenni Bowlin chalk board and easel.  I picked the frame up at a junk store, cleaned it all up and added it to the chalk board as an embellishment, not as a frame.  I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to adhere it to the chalk board.

I also added a little photo banner at the top of the chalk, of my sweet "grands"!   A great gift idea or home decor piece.  Have a wonderful day and I'll see ya soon!!!

Art folders again~

Hi everyone!!! I want to show you the last two Art folders using  Authentique bi-fold cardstock like papers. These are easy to make~Authentique does the work for you because they are 12"x24" and scored to be folded and all you do is glue the sides together..

I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to glue the sides together. Easy!!!

I used some Jillibean Soup on this along with Vintage Street Market and American Crafts! Here is another one~

When they get full I will make them another one.  These will fit just fine in a page protector and stored with my other pages in an American Crafts 3 ring binder album.

Thanks for stopping in today and have a good one. See ya soon!! by: C. Mercer

Art folders~

Hi everyone!! I wanted to share with you some Art folders I made, for my grands, using the bi-fold cardstock paper by Authentique. I love how they turned out and they are perfect for holding all those cute little drawings you can't bring yourself to throw away. Hope you like~

I used different border punches to jazz it up a bit and even used the Authentique label strip on the award emblem.  I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to seal the outside edges.

I added an old milk cap to the award emblem~perfect!! Here is another one~

The design is close to the same but just a few things different.  I did four of these.  I'm going to start another one for all of my Spurs memorabilia I seem to be acquiring!!

The shiney paper on this one is by Vintage Street Market.  I have two more of these and I will post them next week. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.  See ya soon!! by: C. Mercer

Graphic45 note pads~

Hi everyone~I wanted to share with you some really cute note pads that are easy to make and make great gifts!!  You take a piece of die cut paper and cut it in half, fold it in thirds, to make an envelope.  That will hold your note pad.  The note pads are about a 3"x 5".  Decorate the front of the envelope and there you have a sweet teachers gift that she will use!

These are done with Graphic45 papers.  Thanks for stopping by today and I will see you soon.

Recycle those product containers~

Hi everyone!!! I love to recycle and I love to make little gifts out of packaging that I would normally throw away.  It saves me money and it is handmade!!! I used this from the tape packages and made some Valentine treats and birthday treats

The paper is by Paper Studio and I turned to Prima, Jenni Bowlin and Epiphany Crafts for embellishments. Helmar 450 Quick Dry was the glue I used.

The quick way to do this is cover the insert with pattern paper, fill with treats and you are ready to decorate the front. Add some ribbon and a tag and you have just made a handmade gift!!!

This set is made out of Vintage Street Market products.  They are so cute and kids love them!!!
Hope you will try this ~ let me know what you come up with!!! See ya soon!

Flash Cards ~

Hi everyone !!!  Have you ever found something really cool and love to incorporate them into your scrapbooking or cardmaking?  I came across these on a recent junkin' trip and thought I would show you what I made with them.

I added some scrapbooking supplies to the mix and this is what I created.  I used Jenni Bowlin Studio products and the vintage flash cards.  I used Helmar Craft Glue to adhere my embellishments. These would look great on a layout, card or used as a gift tag on a present.

Here is another example. Don't be afraid to use those vintage finds, they can really bring unique inspiration to others.  Have a great day and I'll see ya soon! by: C. Mercer

An oldie but goodie~

Hi everyone~here is an oldie but goodie for sure!!! Remember foo-fa-la by Autumn Leaves?  I always loved this paper but it took me three years and counting to use it.  That is the way it happens sometimes, the paper you really like, you save it and it stays in a cabinet for no one to see.

Here is a closeup of the banner under the photo.  I just cut them all different sizes and machine sewed them under the picture.  The flower is by Prima and the title is by American Crafts.  Here is wishing you all have a wonderful Holiday and the next time you will  hear from me, it will be 2012!!!! So until then ~

Christmas Journal~

Everyone is talking about the December Daily with Ali Edwards { fabulous}~well this is my version.   It is a composition notebook covered with sticky back canvas.  I used the November add on kit by The Paper Bakery to make mine.  I have needed a place to keep track of sizes of feet , little peeps and what I have bought in previous years~such as doll cloths, build~a~bear outfits and such.  I think this will work perfect!!!

The kit came with all of these cool embellishments. So it was easy to put a pocket on the inside for receipts just in case I have to do a return.

Hope you enjoyed this journal and I will see ya soon!!!! by: C. Mercer
