Recently my ScrapStreet sisters shared a new addiction: The Twilight Books. Ok, so I know that many of you have probably read them as they were being written, but somehow we missed the initial publishing. However, we are making up for it now. We have special room with tons of threads discussing them all. Fun questions, interesting observations, and a giggle or three shared between friends.
I am last to the party and a bit scared to start. See, I am right in the middle of a heavy travel schedule for my hubby. Will have him home 4 days this month. Single mom is a MUCH harder job (huge props to all of ya out there doing it) and I am pretty sure that if I open the first book, I will not look back up until my kids are asking if it is ok to run with the scissors. But the stack of pretty books are calling my name.
If you see me here next week with a vampire kit, you will know I made it through! Anyone else want to share your opinion on the series?

A few weeks ago on this blog I wrote an article about a great Plug in site, so today to follow that theme I'd like to introduce another great resource site. "Grafnet".
As of this posting Grafnet has over 4192 listings of Photoshop Filters. The author of the website uses the same photo to demonstrate the effects of each particular filter which just makes sense! In addition Grafnet makes it easy to locate and contact the designers of the filters with clickable links.
New finds for your favorite filters are listed in the upper right hand side of the website and the filter index is in alphabetical order. The author asks that if you discovers a new filter not listed on his website to please contact him. This keeps the list current and ever expanding. There's an easy Contact form on the site to do so.
Filters and plug ins are fantastic tools to integrate into your scrap booking projects. Try them on photos, papers, elements or make something from scratch. The sky's the limit when it comes to the thousands of filters available.

So to what do we turn for support through all this? Apart from our ScrapStreet friends?
CHOCOLATE! The panacea for all ills and men.
Not that we don't love our men, we just love chocolate more! So with that in mind here are some chocolate thoughts for this week.
Money talks, but chocloate sings.
A little too much chocolate is about right.
Man cannot live on choclate alone, but women sure can.
If at first you don't succeed, have a chocolate.
Nuts take up space where chocolate ought to be.
Always keep a smile on your face, a rainbow in your heart and chocolate to hand.
I only eat chocolate for you, so there will be more of me to love.
Do Not Disturb; chocolate fantasy in progress
Chocolate is Nature's way of making up for Mondays.
Anything tastes better dipped in chocolate!
Forget love! I'd rather fall in choclate.
I love you as much as chocolate itself!
I want you, happiness and chocolate.... but not necessarily in that order
I am a woman of many moods .... and they all require chocolate!
You can have chocolate on your desk and no-one bats an eyelid. Try that with a man!
and the ones for ScrapStreet girls?
Sisters share laughter, tears and lots of chocolate.
I scrap with chocolate.
Make sure you grab those freebies from last month as they are diappearing at the weekend. We hope you enjoyed them and would love to see how you use them so upload to our gallery or leave us a link via the comments.
